Volunteer Opportunities
- Days of Week: Thursdays
- Shift Times: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm or 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
- Distribution Day volunteers perform a variety of tasks including: staffing the Check In Desk, greeting clients, ensuring that Food Bank guidelines are adhered to, re-stocking food throughout the distribution time frame, assisting clients with their food selections and cleaning up when distribution is complete.
*Currently needing Parking Lot Attendants for drive thru service.
- Days of Week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Shift Time: 7:45 am - 11:00 am
- Drivers and helper pick up pull-dated food items, day old bakery items and other items from local stores have an excess of. Drivers are also occasionally called upon to pick up local food drive donations.
- We are in great need of drivers with a clean driving record and the ability to lift and weigh the donated items.
- Days of Week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Shift Time: 9:00 am - 11:30 am
- Our Pantry Stocking volunteers receive food delivered by the truck. They sort the food, remove any food that is not acceptable for distribution and then they box, label and store the food.
- Days of Week: Flexible
- Shift Times: Variable
- Help keep the warehouse organized and ensure all nonperishable food is properly sorted and stored.
