A Community That Cares

-Building Project Updates-

5/10/22- We are almost done with our First Phase of the Food Bank Building - "Site Plan." We have spent the past year working on preparing the grounds for the building to go on. This included completing all proper environmental studies, connection to local utilities, creating retaining walls, and ground preparation for the site. Although it seemed like nothing was happening, and we were REALLY SLOW, there was A LOT happening in the background! We have had several local construction companies partnering with us, donating time, material, and expertise on this project.

We have updated our fundraising sign and we will be placing our "New Home" sign on the site!

Thank you to Redtail Construction, Landpro Group, Dependable Contracting, and Quilceda Concrete for all you have done to make this happen. There are also several other companies involved, and I will be sure to send those thank you notes out!

To the Community of Lake Stevens and East Snohomish County - THANK YOU! We could not do this without you!

Sophina Nunez, President, Lake Stevens Community Food Bank.

Thank You Marysville Soroptimists!

We are grateful for the Marysville Soroptimist's support as we continue to build Community, and work towards our goal of a NEW Food Bank, one donation at a time!

Food Distribution Centers

The continued donations and commitment of our community allows us to focus on our mission in providing food to our local community.

The Lake Stevens Community Food Bank will be distributing to our clients in a "Drive Through" model to distribute to our clients. The food bank will provide groceries in pre-packaged bags. All distribution sites will follow this drive through model. Our Lake Stevens Community Food Bank is committed to best practices recommended by the CDC and the Department of Health.

At our Thursday distribution site, check in will begin on the 117th side of the Church and proceed through the parking lot. After checking in, clients will be directed to the pick-up site and the food will be loaded in their cars. Clients to NOT need to get out of their cars. Please do not come before we open to allow our Volunteers to prepare properly.
