A Community That Cares

-Building Project Updates-

6/1/22-

Update on the food bank building. It’s been a long time coming and we are getting closer everyday. However, we’re still short to complete the build. All the people committed in getting this building across the finish line have and continue to work tirelessly to ensure this much needed facility gets built to serve the community. I know I can’t express enough the gratitude I personally have for each and everyone of them. So with that, I thought I would let everyone know what we’ve got going on…. 1. Curb complete to allow ATB paving 2. Fireline Vualt to be complete in the next week 3. Paving scheduled to be complete in the next 2 weeks, as long as the weather cooperates. 4. Contract signed with Corstone to start the vertical build. Should be mobilizing on-site in a few weeks where the foundation will be excated and poured. We want to let the community know we appreciate all the support, now let’s get this building completed!

Thank You Marysville Soroptimists!

We are grateful for the Marysville Soroptimist's support as we continue to build Community, and work towards our goal of a NEW Food Bank, one donation at a time!

Food Distribution Centers

The continued donations and commitment of our community allows us to focus on our mission in providing food to our local community.

The Lake Stevens Community Food Bank will be distributing to our clients in a "Drive Through" model to distribute to our clients. The food bank will provide groceries in pre-packaged bags. All distribution sites will follow this drive through model. Our Lake Stevens Community Food Bank is committed to best practices recommended by the CDC and the Department of Health.

At our Thursday distribution site, check in will begin on the 117th side of the Church and proceed through the parking lot. After checking in, clients will be directed to the pick-up site and the food will be loaded in their cars. Clients to NOT need to get out of their cars. Please do not come before we open to allow our Volunteers to prepare properly.
