-Building Project Updates-
We have officially completed Phase I of the Food Bank Building. This is very exciting news! This phase included all of the planning, permitting, environmental studies and certifications along with connecting into the new utilities on 20th street. This portion of the project was approximately $500k to complete and was supported by so many community members, leaders and building partners. There are so many people to thank on this portion of the project. We will be listing our partners on our website and the final numbers for Phase I. I would however like to thank some very pivotal people that made this happen. Landpro Group in Lake Stevens have spent countless hours, blood, sweat, tears and called in so many of their partners to help us complete this phase and continue to work with us on Phase II of the building. The City of Lake Stevens has also been a major partner for several years on helping us get to this phase of the project. Thank you for your partnership. Past President Doug Warren, Past Vice President Scott Smith, Secretary Elaine Hofstadter and past Board members. Thank you for starting this project. Past Senator and now Secretary of State Steve Hobbs and Senator John Lovick helped us to secure the funding to make Phase I happen. Our Community Donors and supporters you are what has also helped make this happen and your support is second to none! Our Current Board we are on this train and the steam in our engines will get this done. I am so proud to be a part of this Board. Past Executive Director Anne Anderson has worked countless hours getting Site Plan started and continues to support and guide the current leadership in completing this project. Cheers to you all and I look forward to completing this next phase and serve this great community for many years to come. -Sophina Nunez, President, Lake Stevens Community Food Bank

Food Distribution Centers
The continued donations and commitment of our community allows us to focus on our mission in providing food to our local community.
The Lake Stevens Community Food Bank will be distributing to our clients in a "Drive Through" model to distribute to our clients. The food bank will provide groceries in pre-packaged bags. All distribution sites will follow this drive through model. Our Lake Stevens Community Food Bank is committed to best practices recommended by the CDC and the Department of Health.
At our Thursday distribution site, check in will begin on the 117th side of the Church and proceed through the parking lot. After checking in, clients will be directed to the pick-up site and the food will be loaded in their cars. Clients to NOT need to get out of their cars. Please do not come before we open to allow our Volunteers to prepare properly.
